The Bridgewater Congregational Church will host a fair-trade store from today (Friday), Nov. 26, through Dec. 19.

Gifts from Ten Thousand Villages and SERRV will be available.

Patrons can buy Fraser Fir Christmas trees ranging 6 to 9 feet high that can be loaded into or tied on top of a vehicle.

Shopping hours will be today (Friday), Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Fridays, Dec. 3, 10 and 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.; Saturdays, Dec. 4, 11 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays, Dec. 5, 12 and 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Refreshments and shopping time in the fair-trade store will be available.

After the Dec. 3 tree-lighting festivities, a Christmas concert by the Shepaug Valley Middle/High School strings and Brookfield High School small group chorus will be held in the church.

The church will hold two candlelight services of lessons and carols Dec. 24 at 5 and 8 p.m. with a half-hour musical prelude by the church choirs.
