The Big E is back with new performers for 2018
For 17 days, Sept. 14-30, one of the most anticipated annual New England events, is back.
The Big E in West Springfield, Mass. features American and European ethnic foods and desserts, a crafts village, clothing vendors, daily parades, classic car and hot rod shows, home design and improvement displays, agricultural, livestock, floral and cooking competitions, horse shows and concerts.
This year, 90s pop sensation Hanson, platinum-selling artist (and sister of Miley Cyrus) Noah Cyrus and southern rock band The Marshall Tucker Band will hit the stage, among others.

Also on the 175-acre grounds is the picturesque recreated 18th/19th-century Storrowton Village and the Avenue of the States, where each of the six New England states are represented with pavilions. Connecticut Day will be observed with special entertainment on Sept. 19.
Of course, one of the biggest stars of the fair is the food. Each year, hungry New Englanders flock to The Big E to indulge in the fair's many deep-fried concoctions. For 2018, expect deep-fried corn on the cob and tater tot kabobs. Stay tuned for a full rundown of this year's fair food.
