The Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce held its ninth annual Charity Golf Classic and Business Challenge May 24 at The Club at River Oaks in Sherman.

Seventy-two golfers participated in the event, which raises funds for the Chamber's Frederick J. Wynne Scholarship Fund and other local charities.

Capturing first place on a match of cards at 12-under-par 60 were South Kent School alumni Rich Charka, Steve Camardi, Anthony Camardi and Will Finnerty.

Settling for second place were Terry Guing, Eric Stark, Matt Murphy and Rich Namdt.

Third place was earned by Ed Daley, Chris Valentin, Bill Noilseski and Dan Madden at 11-under-par 61.

Mike Robbins slugged the longest drive, and Bill Noilseski claimed the closest to the pin honor at 4'3".
