  • Colorful crowd

The roads of Kent became the playground of nearly 500 road-race aficionados Sunday during the 36th annual Kent Pumpkin Run. Above, brightly colored and full of the Halloween spirit, the pack heads east on to Cobble Lane from Route 7 North early in the Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event. Among those seen here are, from left to right, Cathy You (206), Michael Mangini (384), Jillian Woodring (443) and Thomas Brayton III (333). Many participants dressed in costume, lending that much more fun to the popular five-mile race. For the race results, visit www.greystoneracing.com.
