South Kent School will play host this weekend to the South Kent School U-14 Legacy Cup ice hockey tournament.

The four-team event will open Friday, March 1 and climax Sunday, March 3 with the Selects Hockey Academy U-14 from South Kent among the challengers for the cup.

Also vying for honors will be Ullysse Prep from Quebec, Canada, Hillside (Ma.) Prep and P.E.A.C. Prep from Ontario, Canada.

"We look forward to hosting the cup at SKS," said Eric Solty, the Selects Academy coach. "This tournament represents a lot of quality talent."

The South Kent U-14 squad posted a 31-18-6 inaugural season record, highlighted by the Eastern Hockey Federation regular-season title and the AAA Warrior Classic tournament championship in Detroit.
