The Sherman Park & Recreation Department offers programs throughout the year.

FAMILY
Summer concerts
The summer concerts will resume Aug. 19 with Cripple Creek performing from 2 to 5 p.m. at the pavilion at the town beach.
Triathlon
The second annual triathlon will be held July 28 starting at 7:30 a.m. starting with a half-mile swim at town park. A bike ride and run will conclude the event at Veterans Field. For more information or registraton, check viperracingproductions.com. Spectators are welcome.
YOUTH
Baseball camp
Youths aged 8-15 are eligible for sessions instructed Aug. 6-10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Veterans Field by New Milford High School baseball staff members. Cost will be $100.
Soccer camp
Youths aged 8-15 are eligible for sessions instructed Aug. 13-17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Veterans Field by former longtime New Milford High School coach Rich Sheridan and NMHS players. Cost will be $100.
Swim lessons
The season's final session meets weekdays from July 23 to Aug. 3 with half-hour lessons offered along Level 1-Level 6 Red Cross guidelines.
Junior camp
Children aged 4-7 are eligible for camp sessions meeting weekdays from 9 to 11:45 a.m. through Aug. 3 under the supervision of Michele Close at Sherman School.
Senior camp
Children aged 7-12 are eligible for camp sessions directed by Rich Sheridan meeting weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. through Aug. 3 at Sherman School. Early drop-off and extended hours are available for an extra fee.
