Coach: Chris Piel, 6th season as head coach, 15th season with the Green Wave.

Assistant coaches: Ryan Fitzsimmons, Daryl Daniels, Steve Batello.

2012-13 record: 19-1.

Noteworthy accomplishments: Tenth consecutive South-West Conference; state Class L champions for the second year in the last three; and fourth in the state open.

Key losses to graduation: Louis Alhage Kameron Bradshaw and Robert Tozzi.

Coach's outlook: "Although our team is very young this year, we have set up one of our toughest schedules in team history. Being led by last year's state Class L champion, Kyle Lindner, as well as Niko Stefanatos, Halim Bourjeli, Bryan Rojas and Thomas McIlveen, the team should be battle-tested so they can reach their goals. Hard work, and more hard work, is still the mindset of the Green Wave.

This mentality continues to be successful. Last year, we were able to take walk away with our second state title in the last three years. As always, the Wave has set its team goals high -- a State Open championship and a New England championship.
