Coach: Ryan Rebstock, 3rd season.
Assistant: Chris Bacich.
2011-12 record, accomplishments: Fourth in the South-West Conference, 15th in state class `L.'
Loss to injury: Matthew Kastilahn.
Coach's outlook: "We have a hungry and versatile team this year, spearheaded by all-state cross country runners Ryan Clarke and John Hansell and sprint captains Will Ribeiro and Josh Kainth.
"Along with a talented freshmen class, I will look for first-year sprinter Jordan Branco to have a big impact at the conference and state level and as part of our relay teams.
"Richard Grudzwick is one of the conference's top returning mid-distance runners as a sophomore and a crucial member of our relays. Lorenzo Ash will be very competitive for us in the long jump, while throwing captain Justin Emmans should score for us at the South-West Conference meet.
"We will rely on scoring to come from a variety of places this year and we should be more balanced than in past seasons. With 65 athletes, it will take some time to see who emerges out of the pack.
"We should be one of the strongest teams in the conference, with our relays having a chance to be really special this year."
