8-mile, Village Fair Days races kick off Saturday

The 45th annual New Milford 8-mile road race will be run July 28 with a 9 a.m. start on the east side of the Village Green.

The state's third oldest road race will offer monetary prizes to the top male and female athletes and male and female age divisional prizes.

Again this summer for a 10th time, the race will be accompanied during the town's Village Fair Days by the less taxing Village Fair Days 5K road race.

The events will be directed by Michelle Gasiewski and hosted by New Milford Parks & Recreation.
