-Melanie Grover-Schwartz, a senior, has been named to the spring honor roll at The Loomis Chaffee School in Winsted.

-Ashley Hinz and Rebecca Riddle have been named to the spring semester dean's list, each having earned highest honor, at the University of New Hampshire.

KENT

-Andrew Moore has been named to the spring semester dean's list, having earned honors, at the University of New Hampshire.

-Nicholas Iannucci has earned a bachelor of science degree in movement and sports studies from Springfield College in Massachusetts.

NEW MILFORD

-Megan Beecher, daughter of Thomas and Amy Beecher, and Andrea Laubstein, daughter of Michael and Rosemary Laubstein, both were named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa.

Miss Beecher is a 2008 graduate of New Milford High School, while Miss Laubstein is a 2007 graduate of New Milford High School.

-Douglas Kuring, a junior studying in the Dolan School of Business, and Christopher Mannion, a sophomore studying in the College of Arts and Sciences, have been named to the spring semester dean's list at Fairfield University.

-Emma Okell, daughter of Lou and Andy Okell of Sharon, who own Arkettype in New Milford, has been selected for membership in The National Society of High School Scholars.

The Society recognizes top scholars and invites only those students who have achieved academic excellence. Emma, a member of the Class of 2012 at Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village, is active in the Student Council, Rotary Interact, choir, Art Garage, Envirothon, Academic Quiz Bowl and the Housatonic Musical Theater Society.

She also participates in Girl Scouts and community theater and enjoys creative writing. She is looking forward to performing with the Light Opera Company of Salisbury in their production of "Pirates of Penzance" in October.

-Kevin Reddington has received a B.S. in nursing, Colleen M. Reilly has received an M.A. in TESOL, MA only, and Joanne N. Hutchings has received an M.A. in teaching and foundation, all from Fairfield University.

-Kara Ashley Larson of New Milford made the deans's list at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Connecticut.

-Shannon Durand has graduated with a B.A. from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass.

-At the University of New Hampshire, Thomas Ferrell, Stacy Holland and Kelly Livingstone have been named to the spring semester dean's list, having earned highest honors.

Emily Holland and Rebecca Lastra have been named to the spring semester dean's list, having earned high honors, while Alexandria Lanfranco, Mikaela Malumphy, Ryan Rebstock and Ashley Vinhateiro earned honors on the dean's list.

-Joseph Paduano, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Paduano, has earned honors at The Taft School in Watertown. He is a member of the Class of 2013.

-At Springfield College in Massachusetts, Jeanna Bradle has earned a bachelor of science degree in movement and sports studies; Michael DeCrescenzo has earned a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice; Douglas Kitchens has earned a bachelor of science degree in business management; and Audrey Lastra has earned a bachelor of science degree in health science.

-Natalie L. Hernandez, daughter of Hector and Veronica Hernandez of New Milford, has graduated from Ithaca College with a bachelor of science in speech language pathology and audiology with a minor in deaf studies.

Miss Hernandez will be pursuing her masters at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y.

-Ronald Medina, son of Mirtha Marcela Angulo, has graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford. Ronald will attend Lehigh University in the fall.

-Katherine Pilgrim and Kelsey Shay have been named to the spring semester dean's list at Tunxis Community College in Farmington.

-Jennifer Barillaro, a 2009 graduate of New Milford High School, has been named to the dean's list at the University of Connecticut.

-Evan Noonan and Vanessa Maloney have been named to the spring semester dean's list for third and second honors, respectively, at Pace University in New York.

-Brittany Kapteina has received a bachelor of science degree in biology and graduated magna cum laude from Bay Path College in Massachusetts.

-Daniel Noonan has graduated cum laude from the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi, N.Y., receiving an A.A.S. in construction technology.

-Shannon Booher has been named to the spring semester dean's list at The College of Saint Rose in Albany, N.Y.

-Krystal B. Koenig has reserved a place as a freshman at SUNY Oswego in New York.

-Maggie K. Kish was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at the University of Maine.

Maggie is the daughter of Stephen and Carmela Kish of New Milford and a 2006 graduate of New Milford High School.

-Timothy Ruh, a sociology major, has earned a B.A. from Connecticut College. In addition, he was named to the spring semester dean's high honors list at Connecticut College in New London.
