Senior projects on tap at Shepaug

Seniors at Shepaug Valley High School in Washington are in the homestretch of their senior projects.
To that end, seniors organize fundraisers for charities, initiate athletic events, run educational workshops and assemblies, produce stage and musical performances, create art exhibitions, as well as help manage events for classmates and attend events.
- "Donating Your Body to Science": April 16, 1:45-2:25 p.m. at Shepaug. Includes slideshow. Organized by Catherine Wolk.
- Freedom Trail ride in the Boston area: April 18. Bus will leave Bryan Memorial Town Hall in Washington at 7 a.m. and depart Boston at 4 p.m. $60. Organized by Nick Gueniat.
- "Fun at the Fun Factor": May 7, 6:30-8 p.m. Fun Factor, Route 7 South in Brookfield. Open to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. $15 per person or $10 for siblings. Benefits I Read Every Day Camp. Organized by K.D. MacDonald.
-Children's bike-a-thon: May 8, 10-11 a.m. at Shepaug. Open to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Kids will collect pledges and ride their bike for one hour. Organized by Alexandria Bierce.
