Robotics & Beyond, a not-for-profit engineering, technology and computer science education organization for ages 8-18 in the Greater New Milford area, has announced its recent financial supporters.

Danbury-based businesses Goodrich IRS Systems and ATMI, Inc. have made donations.

The funding supports the acquisition of hardware needed for the group's summer camps in robotics and also for need-based scholarships for the girls-only camp.

The camps will be held July 12-16 for girls only and July 19-23 for all youths at New Milford High School on Route 7 South.

An open house for the girls-only week will be offered July 14 from noon to 3 p.m. and an open house for the unrestricted week will be held July 21 from noon to 3 p.m., both at the high school.
