Talented artists who also happen to be seniors at New Milford High School earned the spotlight recently at the railroad station in town.

The venue was NMHS's 25th annual senior art show.

The three-day event opened May 24 with a reception featuring refreshments, music and time for the artists to meet with their public.

The featured artists displayed a body of work completed throughout their high school career.

The event was noteworthy as a curtain call for Paula Marian, the veteran art teacher who created the senior art show and the school's high-profile Cut, Paste & Copy program.

She will retire from NMHS at school year's end.
