To the Editor:

On behalf of our Board of Directors we wish to thank Ira Smith of Kent Wine and Spirit and Jeff and Trish Namm of Kent Kitchen Works for their tremendous generosity and endless support of our fundraising efforts.

How fortunate we are to have such caring people as part of our community.

Our thanks to the distributors from the Thomas Hooker Brewing Company, the Dogfish Head Brewing Company, the Oskar Blues Brewing Company, the Flying Dog Brewing Company, Smuttynose Brewing Company and the Calvary Brewing Company who provided a medley of new taste experiences for all of us.

Also, thank you to our mentors, Paul Lipinski of Northeast Beverage and Bob Salanardi of Dwan Distributors Inc. for sharing their knowledge and expertise.

Thanks also to Roberto and Paulette Pizzo of Doc's Trattoria, to Gary Davis of Davis IGA, to Tony Hernandez of The Villager and to the Zhengs of Wasabi's Restaurant who all so generously donated some of the best hors d' oeuvres we've ever had.

And, a thank you to James Nunzig of J. P. Gifford for his wonderful soup invention that perfectly complimented our evening.

To the KCC Board of Directors: Larry Dumoff our event planner, also, Christine Branson, Bonnie Jo Cheron, Paul and Mary Cortese, Carol and Tom Franken, Fran Goodsell, Tony Iovino, Stephanie Raftery and Wendy Triano thank you all for your tremendous help in making the evening so special.

And to all of our helpers: Jesse Kidd, Janet Nelson, Susie Rundall, and Jim and Jesse Rundall whose support we so much appreciated, and lastly, thank you to our friends and guests who helped to make the evening a success.

All of you joined together in community spirit and support of the Kent Children's Center and as the recipient of the evening's fundraising we thank everyone who came to enjoy the Tasting and what great fun it was!
