Thanks Village Crest for 'compassion and care'

To the Editor:
Thank you, Village Crest.
Four years ago, I made a difficult decision and placed my mom, Amy Bridge, in your facility.
You comforted me and helped me accept that I did the right thing.
Mom passed peacefully with you, June 13, 2010, at the age of 94.
She had four years of love, fun, friendship and outstanding care from everyone on the third floor as well as all other staff members in your facility.
You took care of her as you do everyone else with all the comfort of home -- maybe even better, for some. I could not have asked for anything more.
As I thank all of you -- I'm reminded we come into this world without any material things and that is how we leave.
The love, compassion and care we give each other is what remains in our hearts and those of others.
I know my mom was happy and left us in peace.
I again thank you. My husband, Stuart, and I will be forever grateful.
