New Milford owned a 2-4 overall record following April 16's 15-8 non-league defeat at Glastonbury, but proceeded to win nine of its final 11 matches to finish 11-6 for the regular season.

A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to the New Milford High School boys' and girls' cross country teams.

The third annual Kent Charity Golf Classic will offer a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start on June 10, 2013, at Lake Waramaug Country Club in New Preston. A buffet lunch, 18 holes of golf with a cart and a buffet awards dinner with awards are included in the $175 fee.
