Wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres will be available at the Route 109 church.

Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the parish office at 1 Elm St. Proceeds will benefit the church's scholarship fund.

						<![CDATA[ The commission has drafted a proposed amendment to the Village Center District Use regulation that would allow parking structures to be constructed in the downtown, with certain restrictions.

In July 2009, a public hearing was held gathering public input on a proposed amendment that would have allowed parking structures of up to three stories.

Rob Burkhart, president of the town's Trust for Historic Preservation, presented a petition in opposition, signed by 416 residents.

An existing building could only be torn down to make way for a parking structure if the building were to be deemed dangerous by the town's building inspector or fire marshal -- or if the building were to be dilapidated and vacant for 10 years. ]]>

						<![CDATA[ The town of Roxbury will recognize its Patriot Day, Sept. 11, with the tolling of the church bells in town at 9:43 and 10:10 a.m., followed by a townwide moment of silence.

Flags will be flown on North Street to commemorate the occasion.

The Board of Selectmen is asking residents to do a good deed in memory of the thousands of people who lost their lives on 9/11. ]]>
