New Milford Public Library will offer a variety of young adult programs during October. Among them:

Students in grades four and up are invited to take part in the Virtual Stock Market Game, which will kick off Oct. 7 and end Dec. 13.

Students can learn about investing and find out how much they can make on a hypothetical $100,000 investment.

Participants may sign up at the library, and play at home or at the library, at their convenience.

Young Adult Council, an advisory group for students in grades six to 12, will meet Oct. 9 to plan programs and events and recommend books, DVDs and music for the library.

A Teen/Tween Cafe will meet Oct. 16 from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
