Women invited to 'Strong Bones'

New Milford Hospital will offer a Strong Women, Strong Bones Program, a nationally recognized fitness program for middle-aged and older women, in the coming weeks.
Three sessions will meet twice a week for seven weeks at sites in the Greater New Milford area.
The program is appropriate for most women; however, all participants 70 and older must consult with their physician before beginning the exercise program.
In New Milford, classes will meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (choose two classes per week) from 10 to 11:15 a.m. from Jan. 6 to Feb. 21 and from March 10
to April 25 at New Milford Hospital on Elm Street.
In Washington, classes will meet Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 3:15 p.m. from Jan. 6 to Feb. 19 and March 10 to April 21 at the Washington Senior Center in Bryan Plaza.
In Kent, classes will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 to 11:15 a.m. from Jan. 7 to Feb. 20 and March 11 to April 24 at the Kent Specialty Care Center at 46 Maple St.
The cost is $85 per seven-week session, and the fee is prorated if someone joins midseason.
