The Kent Wine & Spirit and the Kent Land Trust will co-host the fourth annual spring wine tasting April 19 in Kent.

The event, which will be held at the Morrison Gallery at 8 Old Barn Road, will benefit the land trust.

Ira Smith of Kent Wine & Spirit will present more than 70 wines from 25 of the world's great wine regions.

This year, noted importer, educator and enologist Jordan Ross will offer an exclusive tasting of Chateau Rieussec, Blason l'Evangile, and Rothschild Champagne and others to 25 guests from 4 to 5 p.m.

The main tasting will run from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Bottles will range from $8 to $150, according to Arnold.

The wines will be available to order from Kent Wine & Spirit, which will donate 10 percent of purchases to the land trust.

The gallery will showcase works by celebrated artists Gary Komarin of Roxbury and Brad Howe of Malibu, Calif., during the tasting.

Tickets to the tasting with Ross are $50. Tickets to the main tasting are $35 in advance and $45 the night of the event and may be purchased at Kent Wine & Spirit and at www.kentwinetasting/eventbrite.com.
