The Wayback Burgers and J & R Lawn Service claimed respective men’s and women’s titles recently as New Milford Parks & Recreation adult slowpitch softball climaxed its 2015 season with multiple championship playoff series.

Wayback Burgers successfully defended its championship in the men’s ‘A’ division, thus earning traditional rights to the tag as the town's best men's slowpitch team.

The J & R crew battled past the stubborn DeHoek Belles to capture women’s diamond laurels, in the process closing the book on an overall 22-1 campaign, best in the entire men’s and women’s Parks & Recreation program.

In other men's divisions, B & B Mason Supply played its way to the `B' title; the South Kent Diplomats held court in the `C' division; O’Connor’s Pub grabbed ‘D’ division honors; and Northville Baptist Church earned its second straight `E' championship.

In a consolation tournament for the women’s teams unqualified for the playoffs, Candlewood Valley Motors/Fat City Screen Printing emerged as the winner.
