Railroad Street in New Milford is one of the main roads downtown.

It is a happening street today, serving as home to numerous businesses, including restaurants, retail shops, the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce, barber shops, a hardware store and a fine arts academy, among other businesses.

In the early 20th century, Arthur Bona Confectionery and W.H.D. Crittendon’s store called Railroad Street home.
