The Warren Congregational Church will hold its annual Silver Tea and Christmas sale Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Offerings will include a high tea and light lunch, the sale of handmade items, white elephant goods and Christmas decorations, and baked goods.
In addition, children may shop at a kids’ corner.
A silent auction will also be held, featuring gift certificates and gifts from local restaurants Bulls Bridge Inn, Hopkins Inn, the White Horse Pub, and businesses offering fire wood, and lawn care and groceries; a Christmas tree and gift basket from Warrens’ Angevine Farm; and handcrafted items from local artisans.
New this year will be the sale of some of items from the estate of Dorothy Maier.
Among the items will be limited edition work of Marine Artist Gordon Grant (1875-1962), an etching by noted lithographer Eugene Higgins and a signed photo "Life’s a Bear" by noted photographer Thomas D. Magelsen, as well as furniture and vintage pieces.
The church is located on Sackett Hill Road.
