Washington Montessori School in New Milford has announced it will offer bus service to and from the greater New Milford area beginning this fall.

Laura Martin, assistant head of school, will be at The Makery on Bank Street in New Milford to answer questions about the transportation May 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., May 24 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., May 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and May 30 from 2 to 6 p.m.

“We are excited to be able to make a WMS education a possibility for more families by offering a bus service option for students from the greater New Milford area,” said Head of School Pat Werner.

“Our dedicated teachers, our engaging and challenging academic program and our full day schedule make WMS a great fit for many children,” Werner said. “We hope it can now work for your family too.”

Interscholastic athletics, performing arts, enrichment, study hall and childcare are available after school.

The bus to WMS will make three stops in New Milford and reach the school at 8:20 a.m., and will leave at 5 p.m. for the return trip.

Established in 1965, Washington Montessori School is an independent, coeducational day school for students in pre-K through eighth grade.
