Vincent J. Rosabella, 90, of Southbury, died March 24 at his home in Heritage Village, with his loving family at his side. He was the husband of Catherine (Grace) Rosabella.

He was born Sept. 18, 1922, in New Rochelle, N.Y., son of the late Leonardo and Antoinette Rosabella.

A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, he was a sign letterer and former owner of New Milford Sign Shop.

He loved horses and dogs and enjoyed walking, hiking and singing in a barbershop quartet.

Family was his greatest pride and joy -- "La Famiglia".

A resident of Heritage Village for 12 years, he was formerly of New Rochelle, Margate, Fla., and New Milford.

In addition to his wife of 70 years, Rosabella is survived by his children, Judy DeVesta, and her husband, Mike, of Roxbury; Joan Faller, and her husband, the Rev. Robert, of New Jersey; Kathy Orné, and her husband, Al, of Maine; and Rick Rosabella, of Sherman; a brother, John Rosabella, and his wife, Carol, of New Rochelle; seven grandchildren, Christine Paige, and her husband, Craig, of Woodbury; Jason Faller, and his wife, Krista; and Kelly, Pamela and Leah Faller, all of New Jersey; Nicole Raymond, of New York; and Danielle Orné, of New Milford; and seven great-grandchildren, Will Mosher, Jim, Jamie and Kyleigh Paige, Jake and Marin Faller and Milo Raymond; several nieces and nephews; and his caregivers, Sam, Lindsey, Blanca, David, Mario and Frances.

A celebration of life will take place April 13 at 2 p.m. at Roxbury Congregational Church, 24 Church St., Roxbury. A reception will follow.

The Carpino Funeral Home in Southbury was in charge of arrangements.
