Vincent R. Miceli, 88, of Waterbury, died Feb. 9 at the VITAS Unit of St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, with his family at his side. He was the husband of Rose M. (Gaia) Miceli.

He was born May 2, 1924, in Waterbury, son of the late Salvatore and Salvatrice (Quadarella) Miceli.

Mr. Miceli was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a master pastry chef and an artist.

He was a member of the Watertown Art League and the Kent Art Association, and involved in other art activities.
