Vacation Bible schools slated

Several churches in the Greater New Milford area will offer vacation Bible school as follows:

Bible Baptist Church in New Milford will offer its program for kids age 4 through sixth grade Aug. 5-10 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The Sherman Congregational Church will hold its VBS for children entering kindergarten through children entering fifth grade Aug. 6-10 from 9 a.m. to noon each day.

In addition, a class for sixth graders is available.

Pre-registration is required by calling the Church Road church office at 860-354-6114.

The New Milford United Methodist Church will hold its program for kids ages 3 to 12 Aug. 13-17 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Dinner will be provided.

A donation of $10 is suggested. Scholarships are available.
