Vacation Bible school slated

Two churches in the Greater New Milford area will offer vacation Bible schools this summer as follows:

Northville Baptist Church on Little Bear Hill Road will offer its program July 9 to 13 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The program, based on the theme "SonRise National Park," is open to children in kindergarten to sixth grade.

The Sherman Congregational Church will offer its VBS Aug. 6 to 10 from 9 a.m. to noon

The program is open to children entering kindergarten this fall through children entering fifth grade.
