Two for Two Hundred set for August

The 18th annual Tea for Two Hundred event will be held Aug. 8 at a private home in Washington.
Festivities will include a silent auction, a hat contest, hors d'oeuvres, desserts and dancing.
Candace Bushnell, internationally known writer and social commentator and author of the bestselling book “Sex and the City” is this year’s honorary chairwoman. She will sign copies of her new book “Killing Monica.”
Attendees are asked to wear white.
Tickets are $60 if purchased by July 24 and $75 after July 25. Tickets may be purchased at www.newmilfordvna.org or by calling 860-354-2216.
Volunteers are sought to help with the event.
Event promoters, designers, set-up and break-down crews, crowd organizers and on-site volunteers are sought.
