Thomas Patrick Pizzuti, 59, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died May 18 after a short illness.

Mr. Pizzuti was born in Port Chester, N.Y., to Ann (Pizzuti) Enke, of Danbury, and the late Dominick Pizzuti.

He was a former resident of Mt. Vernon, N.Y., Danbury and New Milford.

Mr. Pizzuti attended schools in Pelham, N.Y., and Danbury, graduating from Immaculate High School in 1971.

He was an optician for Jenoptik in Jupiter, Fla., and was an active member of the Tropical Sands Christian Church in Palm Beach Gardens.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Rebecca; a son, Dale; two granddaughters, Olivia and Chloe; three sisters, Marianne Corbo, of Newtown, Phyllis D'Ettore, of New Fairfield, and Judith Reisel, and her husband, Charles, of East Berlin, Pa.; a brother, Martin Pizzuti, and his partner, Gordon Harrell, of Pocono Lake, Pa.; two stepdaughters; five stepgrandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his father, Dominick; and a brother, Raymond Pizzuti.

A memorial service will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at noon at St. Peter Church, 121 Main St., Danbury. A gathering of friends and family will follow at the Kimberly Place Apartments, 19 Main St., Danbury.
