Theater to stage 'Cinderella'

The Sherman Playhouse will open its production of "Cinderella" Nov. 30 at 8 p.m.

Following opening night, the show will be staged Fridays at 8 p.m. through Dec. 28, as well as Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Dec. 30.

The cast includes Erin Shaughnessey, Jeff Solomon, Tommy Ovitt, Martin Rosato, Sheila Echevarria, Cheyenne Brown and Ava Biondino of New Milford, Bruce Tredwell of Brewster, N.Y., Sophie Rundhaug of Danbury, Michelle Rakowsky of New Fairfield, Christine Amorin of Bethel, David and Katherine Almquist of Sharon, and Spencer Hauspurg and Alyssa Svinte of Sherman.

Patricia Michael of Dover Plains, N.Y., is also a member of the cast and is director.

In addition to Ms. Michael, the show's crew includes producer Robin Frome, musical director Joanne F. Archibald, costumer Terry Hawley, lighting designer Peter Petrino, sound designer David White, and stage manager Amanda Brown with Maya Daley assisting.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Students may see any performance for $10 cash if they show a valid ID card. Tickets on preview night, Nov. 29, are $10 for everyone.
