More than 200 members of the business community, town officials and even a U.S. senator were on hand Saturday as the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce hosted its 15th annual Crystal Winter Gala.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal was among those to grace the event at the Candlewood Inn in Brookfield.

The evening featured hors d'oeuvres, dinner, dessert, dancing, raffles and entertainment by the band Higher & Higher.

Highlighting the event was presentation to Bill Babbino, former longtime Chamber president, of the organization's Lifetime Achievement Award.

John NeJaime, owner of the New Milford Spirit Shoppe and NeJaime's Wine & Spirit in New Milford and NeJaime's Fine Wine & Spirits in Watertown, was presented the Chamber's Business Award for 2012.
