Teen injured at Kent Falls

A 15-year-old boy suffered minor injuries Thursday, Aug. 2 when he fell into the waterfall at Kent Falls State Park, state police said.

Kent Volunteer Fire Department personnel and paramedics responded to the scene after a 911 call had been received at about 4 p.m.

The injured youth was taken by LifeStar helicopter to Waterbury Hospital, police said.

No further details, including the name of the teen, were available.
