Teen girls invited to workshop

The New Milford Youth Agency will present a free workshop, "Navigating the Girl World in Middle School," for girls in seventh and eighth grades on May 18 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Kelly Mullins of the Women's Center in Danbury will lead the workshop at the Maxx on Railroad Street.

Attendees will learn practical tools for dealing with conflicts with other girls and how to stand up for themselves and others without being mean.

Youth Agency bus transportation from Schaghticoke Middle School will be provided, with parent pick-up at the Maxx.
