An invasive species walk and talk will take place Saturday, April 19, at 9:30 a.m. in Sherman.

The program, co-presented by the Sherman Conservation Commission, Sherman Jewish Community Center and the Naromi Land Trust, will take place at the JCC at 9 Route 39 South.

Jeff Main, park manager at Ward Pound Ridge, will discuss why we should be concerned about invasive species, how to identify them

and how to control

them.

A walk will follow at Colonial Park behind Sherman School.
