Spectrum shares its letters policy

The Spectrum welcomes Letters to the Editor.
Letters should not exceed 300 words. Occasionally, The Spectrum publishes issue-oriented pieces not to exceed 600 words.
The Spectrum reserves the right to edit submissions for brevity, clarity, appropriateness and libel and to determine the frequency with which a writer's submissions are published.
Submissions must be signed and include the writer's town of residence (for publication) and home address and phone number (not for publication).
Deadline is Tuesday at noon, but The Spectrum would consider publication of letters submitted by Wednesday at 9 a.m. related to events occurring after the deadline.
