Songwriters to perform in Sherman

The Songwriter's Stage will be presented Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. at Sherman Playhouse in Sherman.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
The event will feature national recording artists Lucinda Rowe and Michael Connolly, with opening support from up-and-coming singer/songwriters Kerrie Budin, of Waterbury, and Christian Mortera, of Newtown.
Newtown natives and New Fairfield residents, Rowe and Connolly are well known in the area for their original music and unique versions of covers of other popular and contemporary artists.
With a top 20 national hit under their belts and four award-winning independent CD's, Rowe and Connolly have performed with or opened for numerous national and international superstars such as Pat Benatar, Eddie Money, Stevie Nicks, Tony Bennett and Edwin McCain, and have toured from Los Angeles to Key West in support of their radio singles and original music.
