Sofija Ferizovic, 70, had family in New Milford

Sofija Ferizovic, 70, of Shelton, died June 25,. She was the wife of the late Ferid Ferizovic.

Mrs. Ferizovic was born June 1, 1942, in Strumica, Macedonia, daughter of the late Petar and Tanka Babulov.

She came to the United States in 1993 to seek safety from war. She worked at Warnaco as a bookkeeper.

Mrs. Ferizovic was devoted to her family and expressed her heart and love in cooking and gardening.

She is survived by a daughter, Jasmina Ferizovic, and a granddaughter, Jane Thompson, of New Milford.

Friends may visit the daughter at her home on Sunday, July 8, from 3 to 5 p.m.
