New Milford VNA & Hospice will hold its fourth annual Sip & Stroll, a fundraiser for the Camp Jonathan bereavement day camp for children, Dec. 1.
The camp is for children ages 6 to 18 who have experienced the death of a loved one.
Activities will begin at 5 p.m. at the 19 Main venue at 19 Main St., where guests will pick up their stroll guide and event tote bag.
Patrons will then sip, shop and stroll around downtown New Milford shops and restaurants, sampling wine, beer, bourbons, non-alcoholic beverages and refreshments.
Holiday discounts will be offered at many downtown shops.
Tickets are $25 per person in advance at Nutmeg Olive Oil on Main Street, at www.newmilfordvna.org/calendar or by calling NMVNA & Hospice at 860-354-2216, and $30 at the door.
Tickets include an official Sip & Stroll glass and entry into a drawing for festive gift baskets.
This year’s stroll will also feature an art show and sale of paintings donated by the estate of Barbara Goodspeed to benefit both New Milford Chore Services and VNA Home.
New Milford Chore Services is a new organization whose mission is to assist seniors so they are able to remain living independently in their homes through volunteers who help with light house chores or provide friendly visits.
VNA Home is an affiliate of New Milford VNA & Hospice which provides short or long-term non-medical services that allow seniors to remain safe and independent in their own homes.
