The Sherman Park & Recreation Department offers programs throughout the year.

The inaugural series of summer concerts will start Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the town park pavilion featuring Cripple Creek. The Bailen Brothers will perform Aug. 13 at 4 p.m.
The inaugural triathlon will be held Saturday at 7:30 a.m., starting with a half-mile swim at town park. A bike ride and run will conclude the event. For more information, check viperracingproductions.com. Spectators are welcome.
Residents can swim at the New Fairfield High School pool as part of a program in cooperation with New Fairfield Park and Recreation.

A trail over the mountain extending from the town park to Colonial Park is open to residents.
Still open for signup are swim lessons, junior and senior camps, baseball camp and soccer camp. Registration is available Mondays to Fridays during July.
