The Sherman Library will hold its annual meeting, featuring a conversation with performing artists Elizabeth Parkinson and Scott Wise, Sept. 30.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m., followed by the program at 7:45 p.m. at the library in Sherman Center.

Parkinson and Wise are Sherman residents and founding directors at FineLine Theatre Arts in New Milford.

Parkinson, the artistic director at FineLine, has an extensive Broadway and national tour resume. She was nominated for a Tony for Best Actress in a musical for her performance in “Movin’ Out.”

Wise, a Tony Award winner, is the director of FineLine. He is a veteran of 13 Broadway shows, the recipient of Connecticut’s Best Actor in a musical, and performed as Ezikiel Young in the movie “Chicago.” Wise worked with Twyla Tharp as assistant director of the award-winning musical “Movin Out.”
