'Sell Your Old Gold' event set

The New Milford Lions Club will hold a fundraiser, "Sell Your Old Gold," June 6-7 with Bob, the Gold Guy, and Lions Club members.
Residents are invited to bring broken chains and bracelets, single earrings (half pairs), rings with missing stones, never-worn jewelry, old school rings, dental gold and more to the railroad station on Railroad Street June 6 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and June 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In addition, sterling silver, platinum and palladium items will be accepted.
Patrons will be paid market value for their gold and other precious metals.
More than 60 percent of the profits will be donated to the Lions Club to support its scholarship fund.
