Scavenger hunt slated in Warren
Published 12:00 am, Friday, August 12, 2016
The Warren Historical Society will hold its first scavenger hunt Aug. 13.
This scavenger Hunt is different from most other scavenger hunts in that participants are not asked to bring back things, but rather information about the town.
All clues will be found in one of three areas of town: Warren town center, which includes town Hall, the Warren Community Center, the Academy, the Warren Public Library and the two cemeteries; the Brick School and Warren Woods; and the northeast shore of Lake Waramaug, including the Hopkins Inn.
Completed forms can be brought to the Warren Historical Society table at the Time Rider Concert at Warren Woods, part of the Summer Concert Series, Aug. 13 beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Winners will be drawn from among all correct entries.
Participants do not have to be Warren residents.
