Ruth Sterling, 87, worked as assembler

Ruth Lillian Sterling, 87, died Nov. 7 at Paradigm Health Care Center in Norwalk.

Mrs. Sterling was born March 30, 1925, in Marlboro, N.Y., daughter of the late William Minor and Edith L. Wood Brown.

She was an assembler with Ullman Corp. in Ridgefield for many years before retirement.

Mrs. Sterling is survived by a daughter, Grace A. Gardiner, of New Milford; two grandsons, Glen V. White and Craig R. White; two granddaughters, Alicia M. Kleppin and Stephanie L. Stout; two great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; a brother, Kenny; two sisters, Joyce and Marion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk at the convenience of the family.

The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford is in charge of arrangements.
