The town of Roxbury's Roxbury Responds Fund is accepting tax-deductible donations to help with earthquake relief efforts in Chile.

The fund was set up to receive donations as needed when catastrophes occur, with its inception immediately following Hurricane Katrina.

In recent weeks, more than $2,000 was collected and sent to the American Red Cross, Save the Children and Doctors Without Borders.

Checks for Chilean relief efforts may be made payable to Roxbury Responds, with a memo for Chilean relief, and dropped off at the first selectman's office at town hall on Route 67, or mailed to Roxbury town hall, selectman's office, 29 North St., P.O. Box 203, Roxbury, CT 06783.
