Rosemarie Elizabeth Weber, 79, of Derry, N.H., died Jan. 24 at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in New Milford. She was the widow of Gerhard Weber.
She was born May 21, 1933, in Marburg, Germany, to the late Emil and Elizabeth Anna Iseleon. She immigrated to the United States in October of 1951.
Mrs. Weber graduated from high school in post-World War II Germany and obtained a licensed practical nurse certificate in 1975.
She worked as a nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua, N.H., for many years before retiring in 1998.
Mrs. Weber is survived by two sons, Mark Weber, of Sherman; and Michael Weber, of Laie, Hawaii; five grandchildren, Bryan, of Pompano Beach, Fla., Steven, of Sherman; Lisa, of Los Angeles; Joshua, of Honolulu; and Matthew, of Laie; and one great-grandson, Koen. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by twin brothers, Wilfred and Dieter.
A memorial service will take place in the spring in Derry, where Mrs. Weber lived for more than 50 years.
The Lillis Funeral Home in New Milford was in charge of arrangements.
