Ronald Masciarelli, 66, had family in New Milford

Ronald Michael Masciarelli, 66, of Danbury, died June 17. He was the husband of Anne Masciarelli.

Mr. Masciarelli was born May 12, 1946, to Angelo and Elvira Masciarelli, and grew up in Tuckahoe, N.Y.

Mr. Masciarelli was a talented woodworker/carpenter who could make anything in his "shop," the place he truly loved to be, creating masterpieces. He cherished family and friends and enjoyed spending time with everyone at home, where he shared his wisdom and outlook on life.

Mr. Masciarelli served in the United States Navy.

He met his wife, Anne, in high school and was married for 46 years.

Mr. Masciarelli is also survived by a brother, Lou; two sons, Ronald, and his wife, Patricia, of Brookfield, and Robert, and his wife, Michelle, of New Milford, and their two daughters, Morgan and Addison, who called their grandfather Poppy.

He was predeceased by a sister, Marie.

At his request, no services will take place. The family will have a small private celebration of his life at home.

The Cornell Memorial Home of Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
