The Sherman Playhouse will open its production of “The Rocky Horror Show” next Friday at 8 p.m.

Following opening night, the play will be staged Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. through Oct. 30, as well as Oct. 18 and 25 at 2 p.m., Oct. 8 and 29 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 31 at midnight.

The show, based on the book, lyrics and music by Robert O’Brien,” will be directed by Francis A. Daley of Danbury, with musical direction by Morgan Kelsey of Bethel.

The cast includes Rueck of Patterson, N.Y., Carly Phypers of Brewster, N.Y., Sarah Hammer of Trumbull, Marisa Caron of Southbury, Jillian Kelsey of Bethel, Viv Berger of Middlebury, Beth Lang of Dover Plains, N.Y., Phaedra Harris and Diana Downes of Sherman, Michael and Jerusha Wright of Newtown, and Shawn Brown, Jim Dietter, and Christine and Maya Daley of Danbury.

The play is not recommended for children under 12.

Tickets are $30. Students may see any performance for $15 if they show pay in cash and present a valid ID card.
