Robbyn’s Nest Education Center in Sherman will offer “Stages of Theater History” Feb. 4 at 2 p.m.

A snow date of Feb. 11 is planned.

Robin Frome, president of the Sherman Playhouse, will lead the program that will explore the stages of theater history, starting with the Greek and Roman comedies and tragedies, through the Renaissance, and finally crossing the ocean to the American Theater and beyond to the present.

Playwrights such as Sophocles, Shakespeare, Moliere, Chekhov, Arthur Miller and Andrew Lloyd Webber will be discussed.

The center is located in Sherman Commons, Suite 3, at 1 Route 37 East.
