The Region 12 School District has announced 2016 standardized test results.

The results were announced at the Board of Education meeting Sept. 26.

Teresa DeBrito, curriculum director, presented the results, noting gains in several areas.

Gains were made in: Smarter Balanced for grades three through eight, with ELA gains of 12.3 percent; Smarter Balanced for grades three through eight, with mathematics gains of 15.8 percent; CMT Science for grade eight, with gains of 9.5 percent; and CAPT Science for grade 10, with gains of 11.7 percent.
